Meet the tutors

Kate has a BA Dual Honours Degree in French and Spanish and has spent time living and working in both France and Spain.  

She is DBS checked and has been teaching students of all ages in Harpenden for over 15 years, establishing herself as a known and respected teacher.  She also volunteers at two local secondary schools preparing A level students for their speaking exam.

Sophia is a second year Spanish and Portuguese student at the University of Manchester. She started tutoring Spanish from beginners up to GCSE level a year ago. She achieved an A* in Spanish at A-level.  She is passionate about learning languages and keen to share that love with others! Sophia offers online tutoring while she is in Manchester, but can do face-to-face when she is home in Harpenden.
